Question: A couple of dental/tooth questions!? please answer if you can!!?
1!. My gums are sort of bumpy, not the kind of really smooth, brightish gums, but the kind of red, bumpy ones!. What can i do to make them smooth!?
2!. How do I know if i need to have my wisdom teeth pulled!? i hear people with braces talking about having them pulled, and im sorta freaking out, cause i dont want any teeth pulled!!
Important: 3!. I need to wear elastics for my braces and i know you need to put them on the top teeth hook things, but where do i put them after that!? my orthodontist stretched the elastics to my backteeth only, but i dont really know where!! i dont want to call, cause he might be mad i haver been waitting so long to ask now!.

I work for an orthodontist and trust me they will be glad you called!! Ask them to print you out a diagram where your elas should go!. That is what we do for patients!. I am almost positive that if you are hooking your elas up to your top eye tooth (canine) then the last molar on the bottom would be where your elas went!. This is called a class two elastic if that helps at all!. As for your wisdom teeth it is different for everyone!. I had mine out and it is nothing to worry about! You are asleep for the whole thing and are clueless to what is going on!. You may be one of the lucky ones who get to keep their wisdom though! Hope I helped some:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
