Question: Something is wrong with my tooth!?
ok im 16 and my second to last tooth on the left top!.!.hurts and the gums hurt to!.!.i went to the dentist today and they took a x-ray and said my tooth looks find no cavitys or decay and my gums looked fine!.!.!.They said it my be my wisdom trying to come in!.!.but i dont see how it would make my second to last tooth hurt and the gums around it hurt but nothing else!.!.also i have braces but have had them for 4 years!.!.so i dont think its the braces!.!.but its been hurtting off and on for 2 weeks and its worse when i chew!.!.!.what do i doWww@Answer-Health@Com

You saw your dentist!. Have you called your orthodontist as well!?
Perhaps something as simple as a tooth paste for sensitive teeth might help!.
Sometimes "tooth pain" is what people report feeling when they are having everything from tmj (jaw joint) issues, to sinus issues (sometimes the precursor to a sinus infection) and ear infections!.
If you don't feel any better in a week or two, don't be shy about calling the dentist back and asking him to have another look!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have the same problem minus the braces!. all i can say is that your dentist is probably right, and that it should only be a matter of time until your tooth stops hurting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Take some advil (ibuprofen) to help with the pain and inflimation!. I have braces as well!. If yours are the same, is this the tooth that has the metal cap that goes all the way around!? If so the x-ray may not be completely accurate!. I would go to a different dentist if possible, and also ask your orthodontist!. Make sure you floss good to be sure there isn't something stuck up in the gum causing it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
