Does getting braces hurts more than having spacer between your teeth??????!

Braces really aren't that painful at all!. People make such a big deal out fo it when it is really nothing!

1!. Getting them on doesn't hurt at all!. I know spacers are a bit uncomfortable and cause pain and soreness, but the actual process of getting braces on doesn't hurt at all!. They really just clean your teeth, glue the things on, stick the wire in and put on your bands :)

2!. What do you mean by teeth back to normal!? People have braces for between 1-3 years generally, but if you do everything the orthodontist tells you, like brushing regularly and always wearing your bands (if you need them) then that will minimise the time it takes to get them off!. It does depend on how much work has to be done though!.

3!. Yes you can chew food for the first 3 days, at least that's what I did!.

4!. Your gums and teeth get a little sore and tender, but it is really nothing!. It is more uncomfort than soreness!. And besides it only lasts about 3-4 days, and then you don't even notice them! If it gets really bad then you can take a Panadol, but seriously, you shouldn't need to :)

honestly, it is uncomfortable at first, but the discomfort subsides rather quickly!. it does hurt to eat also, but its not like HORRIBLE pain or anything!. just sore!. everytime you go to get your braces tightened it will be uncomfortable for 1-3 days but then your back to normal again! its really not that bad and sooo worth it!

It will hurt because it's basically tightening throughout your teeth to pull them close to eachother!. Pain will last for few hours after putting in rubberbands, but as you know, rubberbands are elastic and overtime they will expand and pain will go away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I absolutely hated my spacers because my gums just didn't take them well at all!. Braces really aren't that bad and the results are definitely worth it in most cases!. Your teeth might be a little sore the first few days, but it's a different sore then the spacers because it's not digging into your gum (at least that's what my spacers did)!. Your gums will get scratched a little at first too, but they give you this wax stuff to cover the parts that are uncomfortable, and as you get used to them, you'll need the wax less and less!. You could probably eat whole foods when you get them on, but you'll probably be more comfortable eating something soft!. Rice wouldn't be a problem at all!.!. chicken, maybe not!. I remember when I had braces I always loved getting them tightened!.!. one day closer to getting them off! And you had to wait an entire month to get them tightened again, but by the end of the first week there wouldn't be any discomfort!. They have to take their time to make sure the teeth are secure though!. I'd say go for it!!!

One more word of advice, stay away from colors (red and blue teeth look weird)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I personally thought the spacers were the worst part!. There were times my teeth were sore form wire changes and tightening, but overall the spacers were the part I dislike the most!. Good news, that was also the shortest part!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi Ive got braces:
1!. It dosn't hurt putting thm on!.
2!. Depends how bad they are
3!. You will have to eat soft things like mash!. When I tried eating hard things my teeth felt so sensitive and painful!.
4!. Your teeth will fill achey, but your gums shouldn't hurt!.

spacers hurt worse and it takes about 2 or 3 days to feel normal again not bad at all and if you take a pain pill then you can eat whatever you want and teeth are only sore for about 1 or 2 days just take pain relieverWww@Answer-Health@Com
