I have braces at the moment!. The actually putting on of the braces doesnt hurt at all you cant feel the braces being fixed, but by the end of the day and for a few days after ther will be aching in your teeth when you bite, but the brace itself wont hurt =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

It hurts a little bit, but not very much!. Mostly just a little pressure when they put on the bands (in the back of your mouth!.) and a little soreness after!.
It didn't hurt at all to get them removed either!.
The only times they hurt is when they are put on (pressure when you have the bands placed on , and a little soreness after in the mouth) and when I had my wires tighted which just would result in some mouth soreness!.
Don't worry about it though, just take some Advil or something and you'll be fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com

According to my friends with braces, they dont hurt when they are being put on, they just hurt when they are being tightened!. It wont hurt thaat much though!. Just relax!. You can always say if it hurts and they will be more gentle!. It will be fine!. Dont listen to RR Guy, he is giving you false information!. I reported him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

But a couple hours later your teeth will hurt a tiny bit!.!.
Nothing to worry about!.
And after that everytime that you get your braces tighten it may hurt a little!.!.!.
So the first day try to eat SOFT food

it doesnt hurt when you get them on but after a couple of hours you can feel it!. ignore comment #1!. its a lie!. i admit it hurts but its nothinh unbearable!.just take advil when you are feeling pain and you will be fine!. it only hurts for the first week!. if you eat hard things it will also hurt when you first have them!. stick to foods like pudding mashed potatos jello etc!. dont worry it is worth it in the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
