Dental advice please!?!

Question: Dental advice please!!?
Before moving homes recently i got up to date with several visits to my dentist!. On my last visit she reassured me i was good for another 6 mths!. Only 2 months after moving i got a toothache so visited a dentist!. She did 2 fillings, but the toothache continued, so then x-rayed & although not 100% conclusive sent me to a specialist for root canal which is now halfway through!. In the meantime she's advised me i have 6 other cavities inbetween molars!. I was shocked as its only been a few months since my last dentist visit & i have good oral hygiene!. So far the 2 fillings my new dentist have done haven't settled in, both ache & are heat sensitive so probably will definitely need 2 more root canals!. I am scared to get the rest of the fillings done incase they also go downhill, & i potentially need 5or6 root canals at once! (& am already struggling financially after the 1st root canal)!. I am now grinding my teeth badly at night & mild aching in teeth all over!. Not sure how best to handle it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It seems that your new dentist is one of those that offer "fast food" service!. It is unacceptable to have 2 failures in 2 fillings!. Although there is always such a chance, you must be incredibly unlucky to get 2 / 2 just due to chance!. What should be a low cost dental procedure will end up costing you much more for the root canals!.

If your dentist proposed to perform root canal treatment for safety and you took your chances settling for simple fillings due to cost, then it might be your fault!.

Otherwise, go looking for a new dentist!. Ask your friends, neighbors or colleagues for reccomendations!.

*(your previous dentist before moving must have been blind not noticing 8 potential cavity areas!)Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would DEFINITELY be getting a second opinion!.!. if your dentist cleared you only 6 months ago you should really be fine!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can try to find other sources in which to get the best dental care for a portion of the costs!. Look for a dental school that will be able to get you in!. Granted the people doing the work are college students but they are in the last phases of getting their DMD degrees!. I have had better dental care provided by them than other dentists!.

I would seek reimbursment from your previous dentist!. Chances are they were just to busy to do a good job!. If they even leave a slight bit of cavity in the tooth and then do a filling it makes the problem so much worse!.

I have a few root canals and the ones that were done by others were infact redone and no pain what so ever!.
Good luck,Www@Answer-Health@Com
