Yes you should!. Roughly 30-40% of exposed clinical crown are interproximal surfaces(between teeth)!. The only way to get plaque out from between your teeth is flossing!. Toothpicks will get the food out from between teeth but not plaque!. So flossing is vital to preventing decay!. As far as flossing between every meal, that might not be as necesary, but is not a bad idea!. Just be careful and not floss to hard or you might cause gingival damage!. After you eat, bacteria in plaque get the proper nutrition and create an acidic environment in your mouth, this causes decay!. So a tic-tac will do nothing more than make your breath smell better for a short time!. A chewing gum like trident with xylitol is a better choice for for you actual oral hygiene!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Follow my Advice!
Do as the dental people say, Brush and Floss after each meal! This will prevent the food particles from growing bacteria type things which leads to tooth decay, gingivitis and possible tooth lost!
Sometimes I forgot to brush and I rarely flossed, that developed into gum disease and throbbing tooth aches and lost of teeth!. One last thing DON'T Smoke, that helps kill the gum cells!. Once the tooth is gone you can't replace them with real ones!!! As far as Whitening, just have the professional dentist hygienist whiten them, a lot safer!.
