Question: Are braces worth it!?
Im getting braces for 18 months and 2 teeth extracted!.
(my mouth is overcrowded at the front and teeth stick out & overlap and stuff)
The braces are free on the NHS!.

Forget the people who tell you to do it because you'll have a nice smile!. Image is a horrible reason to do anything!.
I had braces years ago, and yes, I do have a nice smile now, but more importantly, I haven't had any pain involving my teeth since!. Once everything was straightened out, it felt a million times better!. Do it for the health benefits, not because of some "nice" smile!.
Remember to take extra good care of your teeth while you have them, I remember the dentist showing me pictures of people that didn't and that scared the bejeebus out of me!. But if you do everything that you're supposed to, it will come out so much better in the end!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah they are worth it and if you can get them free then get them!. I paid nearly $4000!.00 for my daughter to get hers!. It was worth it cause her teeth were overcrowded and that hurts!. She will get hers off in a couple months and her teeth does not always hurt any more plus she loves her smile!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
