Why would a dental office need two impressions?!
Question: Why would a dental office need two impressions!?
My mum is having some treatment on her teeth!. I believe she is getting a few teeth recapped!. Last monday they took impressions and today she received a call saying they need to take another impression!. My mum asked why but they did not tell her!. Is there something suspicious going on or is this normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

there are many reasons why they could have to take the impression again!.
- Certain impression materials such as alginate a very common material used to take impressions display shrinkage from environmental factors
- Maybe the impression ripped
- Maybe the impression came out inaccurate
- Maybe the poured model broke
-Maybe it was only a preliminary impression
Like i said there are a million reasons why they could have to take it over, i wouldn't really worry about it, it's a common thing to have to get more than one impression taken!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
