How long does a root canal and/or bonding take?!

Question: How long does a root canal and/or bonding take!?
I have just chipped my tooth, and apparently, the chip has gone near enough to the pulp that I might need a root canal before the dentists are able to bond my tooth!. Does anyone know how many appointments it might take before my tooth will be completely fixed!? That is, before my tooth is completely bonded!? (I am also 13, I don't know if my age will affect the time/pain of the root canal!.) Thank you!Www@Answer-Health@Com

From my experience the root canal and bonding would not be scheduled the same day!. If you have already spoken to your dentist about the procedure I would assume just two appointments!. Don't worry root canals are not that bad!. I have had one before!. The worst part about it is having to sit there with your mouth open so long!. The procedure takes about 30 minutes or less!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It does affect the time, your young so the penetration of the chip in the tooth shouldn't be that deep!. It will probably take up to a half hour, and you should be prepared for a needle!. Yes, that does mean your tooth will be fixed but you have to be careful 'cause you may be looking at later on down the line this tooth having to be root canaled/extraction!. It'll definately be done the first day!. If you need a root canal, then this will be a series of three appointments depending on the type of office!. The root canal, the crown prep then the delivery of the crown!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
