How can I fix a tooth?!

Question: How can I fix a tooth!?
My left lateral incisor (next to the front tooth) has always been a little bit crooked, though all my others are straight!. Now that I have dental insurance, I'd like to know what is the most common procedure to straighten out just one tooth!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You best bet would be a retainer if that is an option for you!. They may have to strip a small amount of enamel away from other teeth to allow room for that tooth to align!. Ususlly the stripping is so minor you can't tell it was done!. I am sure you would have to wear the retainer full time until the tooth was aligned!. Of course this is just my guess since I can't physically see your mouth but it sounds like it would be an easy fix!. Have your dentist refer you to an orthodontst and see what your options are!. Best of luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you don't have any major malocclusion then that would be a very simple procedure that most general dentist could fix!. However general dentist price for ortho is usually very similar to actual orthodontist price due to overhead!. Best advice is visit your dentist and explain what you would like!. If you don't want actual metal braces you could probably get invisalign!. You might also want to check with your dental insurance to see what they will cover and how much they will pay for different procedures!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
