What is it called when people talk with their top teeth exposed?!

Question: What is it called when people talk with their top teeth exposed!?
Some people use their top teeth instead of their top lip to form words!. For example, a person who talks in this way would say "mom" by putting their bottom lip against their teeth to make the "m" sounds, with their top lip staying still, above the teeth!. I am interested as to whether or not it's a physiological behavior or a learned behavior!. If anyone could help me out with a specific term that is used to describe this, I'd be grateful!.

Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

~Buck teeth!. Not a very nice term - especially to children affected by the condition!.
That said, It is usually (1) a learned behavior due to the fact that the teeth just "get in the way" therefore, leaving little option other than to talk with them - and - (2) a physiological issue, simply because of their (the front teeth) size!. Not much can be done other than to file down the teeth!. (Done by many Dentist!.) However, due to the over-bite issues (the frame of the teeth / the gum /jaw line!.!.!.) that usually exists, the filing wont be that big of a help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it could prob be both!. but i think it would be more of a learned behavior!. think about a child barely learning how to function their lips to talk and make noise!. well suppose the mother or the father talks that way, children are only capable of mimicing what they see!. so in turn they develop their parents way of forming words!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
