Hello!.
I've had a weird black spot on my tooth for little more than a year or so!. I was told it was a cavity, so I didn't think much of it!. It didn't hurt, and it didn't grow!. I went to the dentist last September for a checkup, and if I had tooth decay I figure he would have told me--however, the little black spot on my tooth wasn't addressed at all, and it wasn't a cavity!.
Recently, if I chew my food at a certain angle I can feel a sharp pain in that tooth!. Now there are two black spots, and the first black spot has expanded a little and turned into a greyish ring!.
I think it might be tooth decay, but I want your guys' opinions!. I cannot, I repeat CANNOT go to the dentist!. My family simply doesn't have the money to dish out!.

It is not a great picture!.!.!.but I think I can see some black discolouration in the groove on your lower molar!. The greyish ring that you see is likely decay under the enamel that is starting to show through!. Unfortunately, your dentist may have missed this spot in his exam!. You need to have this spot checked again, and I think it is likely you will need a filling!. Don't wait, because if you are starting to feel it in your tooth!.!.!.the decay is getting closer and closer to the nerve!. And you really don't want a root canal or to lose your tooth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Flouride causes tooth decay!. You should try getting natural toothpaste and mouth wash!. Such as: Natual Tom's of Maine or Burt's Bees!. It is all natural, so if you accidentally swallow it, nothing happens!. Also, it does everything better than normal tooth paste does!. This is because there are no chemicals in it!. You may think that chemicals work better!.!.!.but I mean!. Think about it!. Chemicals!.!.!.in your mouth!? How would that work!? It won't!
