Answers:
Brush your teeth!.!.!.swil with water a few times try with hot and cold see if either helps!.!.!.!.then get a warm flannel n put it on your cheek wont stop it but may ease it :) xWww@Answer-Health@Com

PAracetamol & ibuprofen can be taken together!. I'd try and ger some Panadol (loads of codeine + paracetamol) and nurofen plus (codeine & ibuprofen)
Take them every 3 hours, start with panadol then 3 hours do 3 x nurofen plus!. Repeat until its cured!. Thats the strongest 'over the counter' medication you can buy!.
Ask your dentist for some naproxen or stronger painkillers, they can prescribe more than you would think!.
Something called 'Anbesol' is really good!. It contains lidocane which will numb the area!. You get it liquid or gel
I think you need a chemist to buy this stuff and theres none open this time of night
Your dentist will probs give you some antibiotics which wont help with pain only cure whats causing it!.

I've had toothache and it is chronic!.
Try the painkillers i listed, cant promise anything but it helped me once (!)

Failing this, i'd go with the guy who said drink whiskey!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh nasty! I know the pain your in, I had a broken infected wisdom tooth that was hell! Don't put nothing to hot or to cold directly on the tooth! if you have an open infection the pain your feeling is right on the nerve so it is extremely sensitive! As for relief try to take something that will knock you out into a deep sleep, alcohol or sleeping tabs, as long as it's safe to do so with any current meds and also if you don't have any dependants around!. The dentist will give you a course of antibiotics before they remove the tooth but this is a good thing and sounds like the source of your pain!. Good luck!. I couldn't eat on one side of my mouth for one year all because I had never had a tooth out!. Now it is it's great and within a few days I was eating normally!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, salt water rinses and you can use clove leaf oil!. It took my dry socket pain away!. You can get it at Walmart, drugstore, or health food store!. I had two percoets and a 600mg Ibuprofen over about a 4 hour period and neither took the pain away, but I just dapped my gum with a Q-tip (both ends) and almost immediately my pain was gone!. I don't know if it will get to the underneath of the tooth but I'm sure it would help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe Bonjela may help, it has a mild numbing affect!. Not everyone has Bonjela to hand though!.

I usually brush my teeth, pop some paramol (stronger painkiller in a black box, little pricey) and try not let my mouth get cool / cold !.!. warmth does seem to help somewhat!.

Mind over matter is another answer, but takes a lot of effort!. I do find telling yourself it doesnt hurt over and over can actually relieve the pain (I believe some soldiers are taught to deal with pain in this way!?)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would either use sensodyne toothpaste or bonjela, and apply a liberal amount to the tooth in question!.

Bonjela is designed to number gum pain and sensodyne is designed to numb the nerves in your teeth!. One or other may help in the short term!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If the pain is that bad maybe it would be ok to go to the hospital!. It's not good to take too many pain killers!. You could try Bonjela if you have some or if there's a late chemist open!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think it is clover that you saw mentioned!.
Cloves are very good for toothache as they have a natural anaesthetic in them!. You would have these in your spice cupboard or rack!. If not, is it too late to get to the shops!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oil of cloves is the answer, but since you don't have any, paracetamol and a salt water mouthwash may help!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Clove Oil works! You can get it in the pharmacy department in any store!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

bite on a ice cube wrapped in kitchen paper once taken paracetamol i do (;
or go sleepies:D

Small drop of whiskey on the sore tooth
that will work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

drink whiskey until your dentists appointment then get
someone to carry you to it if you rememberWww@Answer-Health@Com

peppermint chewing gum!. When I was a child, my mother would give me a baby aspirin to hold on the tooth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

God, I'm feeling for you!. I had an abscess on my tooth the other week and oh the pain!!

Don't know what the prescription painkillers you are taking - but I'll tell you what I did and see if you can use any of it that may be helpful!.

Took Paracetamol and Codeine (the same as a Co-codamol or Feminax - you don't need to be a woman with period pains to take it!) and then two hours later took 400mg Ibuprofen!. Continued this staggered approach every two hours!.

Cleaned my teeth with warm toothpaste (run under a hot tap for a several seconds) and rinsed with warm water!. Rinsed around my tooth with Cordosyl mouth wash!.

Then, I smeared my mouth with bonjela - continuely!!. On the outside of my cheek I rubbed in some Ibuprofen gel and put that cheek on a hot water bottle!. I even put a sawn down cork in my mouth so I wouldn't bite down on the sore tooth and scream in pain (attached to a thread so I wouldn't choke when I feel asleep!)

Ooo, and that spray you can get for sore throats, the one that numbs your tonsils, I even sprayed that around my tooth too!. All in all, it was pretty dreadful, but the codeine helped a lot and made me drowsy enough to get some sleep!.

I really hope you get sorted tomorrow - feeling for you hon!. Take care!Www@Answer-Health@Com
