Grinding/chipping teeth!?!

Question: Grinding/chipping teeth!!?
My little brother has this bad habit of grinding his teeth while he's asleep is there a health risk behind it!? and I also noticed when I was helping him brush his teeth he still had some white gunk on it, and it looked like the surface of his two front teeth and one on the left side were chipping!! he's three and he STILL drinks his bottle (blame my mom!) What's going on with his mouth!?!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Your little brother has bruxism (teeth grinding)!. Ask the dentist about a night-time mouth guard or other alternatives!. Most bruxism is stress related and might go away in adulthood or adolescence!.
Also, no bottles after 1 year of age!. : )Www@Answer-Health@Com

He needs to go to his dentist and get a plate, or other, to put in his mouth while he sleeps so that he doesnt damage his teeth furthur!.

What is happening is that he is grinding so hard that the enamel is being frictioned off and chipping is occuring, this can be a major issue if not looked at by a professional!.

It is usually caused by stress, in children could be caused by change, move etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

FYI, BOTTLE CARIES IS A DEFINITE POSSIBILITY UNLESS THE CHILD HAS ONLY PLAIN WATER AT NIGHT!.
CARIES MAY CAUSE THE CHIPPING OF THE ENAMEL OFF THE TEETH!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
