I have a tooth in my lower half of the jaw with a root canal that has always given me problems since it's been done!. Thing is now half of the toot has chipped off leaving the other half and the white filling in the tooth!. I really value my teeth and smile and really don't want to lose the tooth, i've booked an appointment!. What will they do!? i'm really worried :(Www@Answer-Health@Com

Without looking at an X-ray no one here can tell you!.
However, likely possibilities are!. Do another root canal, because some root canal treatment is not always successful first time round!.
Tooth could be built up and filled again!.
You could be offered a crown!.
