Answers:
Dry Socket is an inflammation of the bone, that occurs 3-4 days after a tooth has been extracted!. There will be an excruciating pain associated with the extraction site, the hole may have a yellowish-white color and there may be a very bad taste or smell!. Huge pain is the key symptom here!.
It is very easy to treat!. I will flush out the socket with some warm water!. I will try to get it bleeding again!. And I will place a little medicament called Alvogyl!. Usually the patients notice an improvement in the amount of pain there is within 5 minutes!. Usually one time of doing this is enough, but it may take 2 or 3 times!.
If you don't go back to your dentist to get it treated, the pain will linger for a couple of weeks!.
Follow the rule!.
No Smoking!.
No spitting!.
No sucking through a straw!.
And no rinsing your mouth for about 24 hours!. Then a little salt water with no rinsing or gargling or spitting!.
Get past the 3-4 day mark and you should heal up without any problems!.
The fact that 10 hours later you have no pain is great!. If in a couple of days it begins to hurt a lot!.!.!.!.that is Dry Socket!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

KENDRA,
IF A DRY SOCKET WILL FORM IT'S 24-48 HOURS POST EXTRACTION!. THE DENTIST TREATS A DS BY PULLING A SPECIAL PASTE MADE FOR IT!.
IT'S VERY PAINFUL AND TAKES WEEKS TO HEAL!.
THIS PAIN IS EXCRUCIATING SINCE THERE IS OPEN BONE IN THE MOUTH!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
