I got a molar removed yesterday, but there's no swelling...normal?!
Question: I got a molar removed yesterday, but there's no swelling!.!.!.normal!?
More details:
Wednesday, I had a swelling on the back-bottom corner of my jaw, just to the front of my ear!. And went in for an emergency dental checkup!.
They said a molar got infected in the root, so it need extraction (to be done Friday, yesterday)!. For the mean time, they prescribed me amoxicillin and hydrocodone!.
I got the extraction done yesterday by an oral surgeon, as the tooth was decayed and my dentist thought it'd be better to have them do it instead!.
So now it's day 2 of the extraction, but there's no swelling or pain!.!.!.!.there was pain yesterday after the anesthetics wore off!. Is this normal!?
When does the swelling start!? And is swelling a good sign of everything is normal in the healing process!?
Maybe I should be grateful, but I'm concerned that it's not happening because of the anti-biotics i'm taking and will continue to take until I run out on Monday!. I just want everything to be as they're suppose to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
