Asthma Inhalers Affecting Teeth?!

Question: Asthma Inhalers Affecting Teeth!?
Now i need some help,

Apparently inhalers decay your teeth enamel when you take them, and i dont know if its true or not!. My teeth are fine, but not as white as i would like them to be!. I brush/ mouthwash 2 times a day, and i cant brush my teeth everytime i take my inhaler!. If you have any knowledge of this please share would appreciate :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Various ingredients in asthma inhalers have probably led to some minor dental issues!. When I was first a GP it was said you could always tell an asthmatic child as their teeth had rotted!. This was generally because they consumed vast quantities of Ventolin syrup which had a massive sugar content, and was close to useless anyway!. One way to avoid ingesting unnecessary ingredients is to ask your GP to switch your Ventolin Evohaler to a Ventolin Accuhaler and also to switch you to a Seretide Accuhaler, neither of these need propellants!. These are much more efficient and easier to use devices than aerosols anyway!. You might experience some resistance, as although they contain the same drugs, they are a bit more expensive!.

Pinkie makes an important point that you should have been advised to always wash your mouth out after using the inhalers, to remove any debris left behind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you take your inhaler it shouldn't go through your teeth, you should take it straight down!. Ask you doctor about this i have been using inhalers for years and haven't had any trouble!.Do you have the new style inhalers they are much better!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One of my inhalers information sheets advised brushing your teeth after taking it as contents could cause tooth decay as residue stays inside your mouth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't think they affect your teeth, but you should always rinse your mouth with water after using them as they can give you oral thrush!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
