Bridge!!!!!!!!!!1?!

Question: Bridge!!!!!!!!!!1!?
My bridge fell out 2 yrs ago and i have a phobia of dentists but my health worker, has put me in touch with a dentist who works with phobic people!. 6wks ago a lump has appeared on my gum, about the size of a pea!. It goes down once a wk after rubbing Bon Jela on it but comes back again!. I'm going to the Dr's this wk and should i mention it to him!.

Brush my teeth twice a day and use mouthwash but also get a funny taste in my mouth!.

Still waiting for an appointment with the dentist, 3 mnths later!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes mention it to your dentist!. Sounds like a draining abscess, that is the funny taste you get in your mouth!. If the tooth has not been root canalled, then it will need one!. If it has been root canalled, the seal of the root canal has been blown and the root canal needs to be done again, or the tooth needs to be extracted and the bridge made bigger!.
Your dentist will take an X-ray of the tooth, which I am sure will shown a black circle around the root tip!. That is the infection eating away the bone!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Firstly talk to your doc about the lump and at the same time ask him to prescribe Valium to enable you to go to the dentist!. I did this and when you build up a trust you will be fine and no longer need the Valium!.

Good luck :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should definitely tell him about the lump!. My guess would be it's an infection!. Some antibiotics will clear that right up!.

Sounds like a gingival abscess!. Talk to your dentist!. They will be able to diagnose with xrays, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
