Maybe dry socket???!

Question: Maybe dry socket!?!?!?
Okay, yesterday I asked a question about dry socket!. I had a tooth pulled (my third molar on the top) at about 11 am and then at like 8 pm i noticed that the site looked as though it didnt have a blood clot in it!. It just looked very deep!. Well I checked it this morning- looked the same so i went back to the dentist!. She asked if i was in pain and I told her no and then she checked it and said that the roots were deep and thats why I cannot see it but that the blood clot IS in there and that tissue has actually already started growing!. The site still looks the same and still no pain, except where i got the shots!. Also, I placed a gauze pad on it while i ate to prevent food from getting into the site and when i took it out it had a little brownish yellowish color to it!. Is that normal!? And is there a chance that i still could have dry socket or am i just being paranoid!? It has been almost 2 days since the extraction and still no pain!. How long until the site should start closing up!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

KENDRA,
I ANSWERED YOUR QUESTION YESTERDAY!. IF YOU HAD A DRY SOCKET YOU'D HAVE AGONIZING PAIN!. DRY SOCKETS USUALLY FORM ON LOWER WISDOM EXTRACTION SITE IF THE PATIENT SMOKES, DRINKS WITH STRAWS OR DOES STRONG MOUTH SUCTION AND LOSES THE HEALING BLOOD CLOT!.
YOU WILL BE OK AND MAY NOT EVER SEE THIS SITE CLOSE AND HEAL!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dry socket would come with pain, and a lot of it!. The mouth is a pretty sensitive area, so if there was anything wrong you would feel it!. The brownish color on the gauze is probably from a little of the clotted blood getting mixed with saliva and then staining the fabric!. Keep doing what you're doing; the spot should heal in a couple of weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

From what you describe it is in the process of healing, you need to give it some more time for that to heal and close up it will take a week or two!. Just keep it rinsed and follow your Dentist orders, Patience, is indeed a virtue!. Get well soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
