Sounds like you have an impacted wisdom tooth!. The dentist I worked for was great with removing impacted wisdom teeth!. He would numb the patient, inject them with a therapeutic drug injection which would block the mandibular nerve on the lower jaw so the patient would not feel any pain for 4-6 hours after the surgery!. He would make a small incision and cut the tooth into four sections and remove the tooth!. Sometimes a small stich is in place to keep the extraction site closed!. This procedure with a small incision reduces swelling and increases your healing time!. Make sure you do not drink through a straw or smoke as the suction from either one could possibly dislodges the blood clots which could lead to dry socket!. After 24 hours, you can start with mild salt water rinses which away and food debris and promotes healing!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi Kiddo,
1st off do not be afraid as it will make you more prone to feeling pain!. My wisdom tooth also was impacted (growing in sideways)!. I went to the oral surgeon and they make you go to sleep!. When you wake up it will hurt, I'm sorry I won't lie and tell you it won't!. Just make sure your parents have your medication they prescribe filled while you are in surgery!. When you wake up, you can take one of the pills they prescribe and it will help TONS!! Also afterwards, use wet tea bags to put on the surgery site!. It will not only help it heal faster, but it did help my soreness!.
Good Luck Kid
