Question: To guys- are braces unattractive on a girl!?
not boasting, I'm generally considered an ok looking girl, but i recently found out I have to have braces on for about a year and a half, do guys find this off-putting!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As someone who has had braces, they hurt!. But they are soooo worth it! The feeling you get once they are off and your teeth are perfect is great! Even if a few people will go off you when you are wearing them (and a few shallow people defiantly will), it is worth it in the long run, and you probably wouldn't want to go out with that kind of person anyway!.
Personally I think that braces can be attractive if you wear them right!. Choose the colours carefully, don't flaunt them in the hope that people will like you more for it, they really shouldn't make much of a difference (like glasses), but mainly, they absolutely most important thing, is to keep them clean!! don't eat things like cheesy crisps or chocolate or other sticky/brightly coloured/strongly smelling foods unless you have a source of water and sugar free breath mints nearby!. As long as you keep all that crap out of your mouth and keep them clean then you will be fine!.
You have to accept some things, such as the few people who wont find you attractive any more, and that you wont be able to eat certain things without everyone around you cringing!. But it is a great long term investment that will serve you good!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's what I was kinda wondering when I first got my braces put on!.!. I've had them for almost a year, and I don't think guys really mind that much!. There are a lot of pretty girls at my school that have them!. Actually, I don't think guys have even said anything about my braces to me unless I talk about them and even then it's nothing bad!. I'm not a girl that usually has a boyfriend, but I've been noticed by a few guys this year!. It's kinda like they haven't even noticed them!. One of my friends even said she's used to my braces so much that she doesn't even think anything of it now!. I don't think you should worry about it because you definitely won't have anything to worry about once they're off!. You'll look even better!. Good luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope; 1/2 to 2/3 of the studnets in my school have braces, and many of them are going out and having great social lives!. i wouldn't say it'll make a guy fall for you, but they won't reject you cause of it!. you can even kiss, so long as your braces don't tangle with his!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
