Question: Do Braces Hurt!?!?
I'm getting braces on Wednesday and was wondering if they would be dreadfully painful!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good luck on your braces! I have had mine for about a year now!. It wasn't sore when they put them on, but it does feel really uncomfortable when you close your mouth for the first time at the orthodontist!. The pain starts about three hours later, especially if you try to eat solid foods!. I could barely eat noodles and tofu, and hardly ate dinner or anything the day after!.
I remember when i brushed my teeth that first night, i really didn't do a good job because it hurt too much!. Flossing was really hard too, and extremely painful!. About three days later, I ate spahgetti really slowly, and had to break my sandwhich into little pieces so it wouldn't bee so hard to chew!.
Don't go for hard candy or candy bars though, especially gum for a while!. The pain goes away within two days, but it's really unconfortable for the first week maybe, because you will have to get used to talking!.
Braces isn't a dreadful experience though! Have fun with it! You can change the colors of your braces everytime you have an appointment! Hope this helped!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hahahahahahaha!.!.yes getting braces can be dreadfully painful and deadly!.!.hahahahah!.!. Nah! Just kidding!. Yes,you actually do feel a pain but not a dreadfull pain!.!.just like a mosquito bite!.!.its because the position of your teeth is not position correctly as a result of our early eating habit or our genetics!.!. so getting braces is so to correct your teeth position!.!. :O

yeah, unfortunately braces hurt quite a bit!. i first had mine put on when i was 7 years old and they permanently ruined my teeth!. if your teeth aren't done maturing, then the roots of your teeth can suffer permanent damage!. i've had 2 root canals and 1 extraction and implant due to my 6+ years of braces!. but not all cases turn out like mine did!. just make sure that you or your parents completely understand the risks of braces!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
No they are not dreadfully painful!. When you get them tightened the will be sore and when you first get them on your lips and inside of your cheeks will be hurting but just put the wax on the brackets and what not and they should be fine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
I'm getting mine on May 10th or so, and from my cousin, I learned that it does feel sore and tight the first day and you'll have to drink only liquids that day!. No, you don't become a low-life who can't eat!. Don't worry!.

I just got my braces friday and it doesnt hurt a bit when the orthodontist puts them on!. A few days later though it will feel sore but that will be gone in one to three days!.!.!.!. GOOD LUCK!.!.!. hope this helps:)Www@Answer-Health@Com
Yes i hated mine! I had them for a little over 5 years, most people don't have them that much but my teeth were really jacked up after you get them up you'll be happy you had them :]Www@Answer-Health@Com
