Brushing Invisilign Attachments?!

Question: Brushing Invisilign Attachments!?
So I got my first Invisilign tray this afternoon (only on the bottom though, won't start the top until my 10th week)!. I have three attachments!. When my doc told me to try and take the tray out myself one attachment broke off!. He replaced it, but now I'm paranoid that it'll happen again (with his office being 50 miles away, I'd prefer not to have to drive back)!. Is it okay if I brush them with an electric toothbrush or should I just use a regular brush!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Using an electric toothbrush is OK for your Invisalign attachments!. The attachments are made from the same stuff that is used for tooth-colored fillings!. Sometimes an attachment will pop off at first due to some bonding failure, but since you've been able to take your trays off and on since then, the attachments should be just fine!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your dentist should've given you special instructions on brushing!. Although I'm not very familiar with invisalign I was under the impression that the trays had to be removed in order to brush!. I would play it safe and use a regular toothbrush!. An electric one may be too much for your attachments!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
