Question: What are the white things coming out of my tonsils!?
there are these smelly bits that come out of my tonsils and i am afraid my breath smells from it!. what is it!. how do i get rid of them!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

they are called tonsoliths and yes they will smell up your breath!.!.!.!.!.!.have a tonsillectomy or get a water pik teeth cleaner and clean your tonsils with it!. My roommate has this prob and she is 40 yrs old and they said she is too old for a tonsillectomy!. Some dentists say they are trapped food particles but doctors say they are infection!. She said the doc called the condition Cryptic tonsil in which "crypts" or holes trap this pus like stuff and a waterpik is usually good at flushing them out!. Anyhow, see your doctor!. They can be formed because of a few different things, these being food particles, oral bacteria, dead white blood cells, or overactive salivary glands!. The only sure way to get rid of these permanently is to have a tonsillectomy (having your tonsils surgically removed), however, there are treatment kits out there that claim to solve your tonsil stone problem that cost only about $40!. I don't personally know if they work but it's worth a shot to avoid surgery!. Anyway, A lot of people suffer from these annoying things and they just use mouthwash OFTEN to try and avoid bad breath, and also push on the tonsil and try to remove any any particles daily!.
