Extreme toothache after getting a filling?!
Question: Extreme toothache after getting a filling!?
I got a filling between my two front teeth about 13 hours ago!. Since the numbness wore off (about 4 hours after procedure), my front right tooth has been hurting to the extreme!. It hurts when I breathe from my mouth, and when anything touches the back side of it (I haven't tried biting with it)!. It even hurts [the most] when I do the slight sucking motion to swallow saliva!.
I have very sensitive teeth!. A year or two ago, I had a filling and a few days later it suddenly hurt so bad that I thought the filling came out!. Turns out everything was fine and the dentist gave me this special flouride mouthwash to swish twice a day!. The pain disappeared the next day!.
I've used that mouthwash a few hours ago!. So now for my question(s)!. Should I go back to the dentist if the pain doesn't get any better after a few days!? Is there anything I can do to help the pain at all (note that I can't even use a q-tip to dab some Anbesol on it because the pressure of the q-tip hurts too much)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
