When you floss it removes plaque from between your teeth you cannot remove by brushing and Listerine, if you don't remove the plaque it will turn in tartar and that's when you get gum disease (not fun or at all attractive)Www@Answer-Health@Com

If left unremoved, the plaque that builds between the teeth will begin to form starting under the edge of the gumline and work it's way deeper until it actually pushes the gums away from the teeth!.
If left to continue, it takes painful root scaling to remove and this may not even allow the gums to re-attach to the teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Proper flossing requires you to slightly dig the dental floss below the gum line!. The reason is that there is tarter buildup above and below the gums!. Healthy gums will not bleed, nor should it hurt, when you floss properly!. If you notice that flossing like this hurts too much, or that you bleed when you do it, then you may have a health issue with your gums!.

Poor gums will lead to poor teeth, and possibly having them fall out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If there is plaque and food caught up in between the top part of the tooth and the gum (You know what I mean right!?

It could irritate and cause the gums to become inflamed and eventually lead to *The Gum Disease Known As GINGIVITIS!*

Mouthwash also helps get rid of these Gingivitis causing irritants!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your teeth can be VERY tightly packed, and ordinary brushing cannot get the germs that grow in-between those cracks!.

So what the flossing does is force it's way through there and removes it!. Nothing else can do it's job!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
