i have 5 keflex 500 pills how many will it take to kill infection from a molar that was pulled!. the dentist gave me amoxicillian but it didn't stop the pain after 4 days can i put the 2 together and take themWww@Answer-Health@Com

Keep taking the Amox since it's to get rid of the infection!.!.!.!. and it's not a painkiller!. You may have a dry socket, so get an appointment with your dentist to have the area checked out!.!.!.!. and don't take any of the Keflex!.

do not mix the antibiotic!. if you continue to have pain after the tooth was pulled, it could mean you have a condition called dry socket and a dressing with medicine needs to be placed in the socket by your dentist!. other cause of tooth pain after extraction is incomplete removal of tooth or inadequate pain medicationWww@Answer-Health@Com
