I'm going through Invisalign now!. The aligners cover the whole tooth!. Like a clear plastic mouthguard(if you've ever worn one of those) but not as bulky!. No, it's impossible for them to come off while you're talking because they're on tight!. Their job is to slowly move your teeth over time and if they were loose, they wouldn't be doing their job!.
They're not uncomfortable at all!. You get used to them really quickly!. What that other person was talking about was in order to get certain teeth to move, if some of your teeth need to rotate, the orthodontist will put what are called "buttons" on a few of your teeth!. They're little white things that they glue onto your teeth!. The aligners are made with little bubbles in them to fit those buttons!. So, when you put your aligners on, you pop them on over the buttons!. Not all people have those that have Invisalign!. I have 4-- 2 on top and 2 on bottom!. They are a clear shell that fits over both the front and back of the teeth!. They "snap" in with help from tiny little dots they glue on to strategic teeth!. They will not pop off!. They are not uncomfortable!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
