Question: How many years do you have to wear braces!?
i'm tired of this braces!. it hurts when my dentist are adjusting it!. how many years do i have to wear braces!. i haven't got my second change of wire because my braces always has a problem because it get's loose everytime i visit the dentistWww@Answer-Health@Com

ur braces will get loose eventually, which is a good thing coz it means ur teeth have moved!.!.!.also duration of braces depends on severity of change, pace of dentist and also ur regularity of keeping ur appointments (like my friend n i both kept missing ours :( )!.!.but the end result is a gorgeous smile so it'll be worth it!.!.!.plus if ur dentist speeds up now, it'll hurt u more, so choose what u'd rather tolerate, cause u can't have speed AND less pain!.!.!.anyways, good luck!! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

IM SOO EXCITED LOL even though its a loong time still!.
it depends how bad your teeth are though, like my brother
only has to wear them for a year he has like 5 months left!.
Try not to eat hard foods or maybe your top teeth are bumping your bottem ones & are bumping off the brackets !?
try not to touch the wires ( except when you brush your teeth)
but dont try to pull it off, its not going to get you anywhere
and your still going to get it put back on anyway!.
(what exactly do you mean by "loose" like the wire is loose!?)

You mention going to your "Dentist" - perhaps you should change to a specialist Orthodontist instead - these people tend to know a lot more about braces than a regular dentist!.
Spider is correct about it depending on how crowded your teeth are - another major factor is how old you are when you commence orthodontic treatment because the older you are the longer it takes to force the teeth to move where they need to go!. At the same time, if its done too early, then the teeth keep moving of their own accord and the effort is wasted!. Ask your Orthodontist!. My daugher wore full braces for 1!.5 years from the age of 13 but even after the braces were removed, she still wore a permanent retainer plate on her bottom teeth until she turned 20!.
Regardless of how long it took, she freely admits now (she's just turned 21) that it really was worth it - a beautiful smile is magic and hers is perfect!.

it all depends on how much attention is needed upon your teeth and alignment of your jaw!.!. if you have a severe case!.!. it may last upto 5 years!.!. the minimum time for braces is 18 months!.!. because there will be the needed alignment of teeth first so that your teeth won't decay because sometimes, you can't brush your teeth properly!.!. then, there will be the correct alignment of the jaw!.!.!. so that you won't have complications with it!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
