Is it possible to pull a decaying tooth yourself?!

Question: Is it possible to pull a decaying tooth yourself!?
Hello! For about a year now I have had a decaying tooth, but I currently have no dental insurance!. I called a dentist office and they said it would cost around 700 bucks to get it pulled!. If I can't afford insurance right now, I sure as hell can't afford that!. What it looks like I'm going to have to do is pull it myself, so I was looking for any advice someone could offer me to do so (how to do it, what to do afterwords, etc!.)!. Any help or opinions would be great!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can do it yourself, however it takes some serious testicular fortitude!.

Depending on where the tooth is at, how decayed, and how well rooted - you might be able to tie a piece of fishing line around it tightly, tie the other end to a door knob, do about three shots of whiskey, and proceed with the old 'slam, scream, and pass out' technique!.

The problem is that a lot of decayed teeth are still very well rooted (sometimes the roots will even curl up around the jaw and make it even more difficult to get them out)!.

I have had a few fillings fall out, and the teeth crack!. One or two I removed almost totally by myself as they disintigrated, but I had to go to the dentist and pay a fortune to have an impacted wisdom tooth extracted before it got infected!.

Check around and see if you can find someplace to do it cheaper - check with local walk in clinics to see if anyone does inexpensive extractions!.

Good luck! Teeth suck!! I've been taking better care of mine, but I still need a ton of dental work!. I have insurance now, but it's still expensive as f**k!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pulling a decaying tooth yourself is bad!. If the roots have rotted in, or it has a cavity, it may not work!. It can also end up with messing up the alignment of teeth!. Yes, you can pull it yourself, but I wouldn't!. Ask the dentist what all is involved in the procedure, and if there is any part of it you don't want, maybe it will lower the price!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would not try to pull the tooth yourself!. Did you try going to your local Emergency Room at the hospital!? If you don't have dental insurance, you can usually work out a payment plan with them!. Just explain the situation and tell them that you are in extreme pain!. They cannot deny you because of your inability to pay!.

I think it's a safer, more sanitary way to have your tooth removed!. It's not worth the pain or the health risk for you to be your own dentist!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Of course it's possible!. Would i do it!? Heck no! First off you never know what could happen!.What if cause more damage trying to pull that sucker out than you had in the first place!? Then what are you gonna do!. Not to mention health wise you never know what could go wrong!. What if you start bleeding and can't stop it!? Then your going to have to go to the hospital and if you dont have medical insurance you'll wish you would have just payed the dang dentist! Anywho!.!.!.do what you gotta do and good luck with it!. But just for the record!.!.!.most dentists are very flexible and allow patients to make monthly payments!. Check it out before you do anything you'll regret!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah you can, but I dont recommend it, if theres an infection in the tooth and you pull it the infectin can go into your bloodstream and then your looking at a huge bill!. Check online there are clinics that have dentists in them and they charge based on income!. I had a decaying tooth pulled and I had to take anantibiotic foe 10 days before because there was an infection in the tooth!. Good luck and be carefulWww@Answer-Health@Com

The risk of infection is very real!. In the end, it could cost you much, much more (both in terms of health and money) if you try to pull it yourself!.

There is a list of free medical/dental clinics at www!.freemedicalcamps!.com/

EDIT: There is a difference between pulling a baby tooth that's about to fall out anyway and pulling an adult tooth!. Baby tooth roots dissolve away before the tooth falls out!. Adult teeth retain their roots!.

Some people have probably successfully pulled their own teeth without consequence!. People sometimes run across busy freeways without getting hit!. People sometimes play Russian Roulette with a revolver without blowing their brains out!. People may have pulled their own teeth more often in the past, but they also died of "blood poisoning" more often, too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Decaying tooth is not necessarily due for extraction!. I had similar experience with one tooth which I treated by repeated washing/brushing and applying some medicine and it not only stopped decaying/paining but lasted for over 10 years!. About extraction, the skill can be developed by anyone!. It requires one tough string!. In our child-hood one of our servants used to do pulling it out with a jerck and pain is only for that moment!. Apply an ointment termeric thereafter!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I feel your pain!. Have you watched the movie Castaway!? Pulling it yourself could be dangerous! Not to mention very painful!. Try to find a dentist who will let you make payments!. It may be difficult, depending on where you live!. Also, try the Good Samaratin clinic, or local churches!.
If you end up doing it yourself, make sure someone is with you in case you pass out, you could bleed to death!Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's possible!.!.!. i never get to a dentist to extract my decaying tooth!.!.!.!.i just pulled it with a strong string!.!.then pull!.!.!.or use the tongue!.!.!.!.now!?i don't have problems regarding with my teeth!.!.!.!.!.except for holes!.!.!.that are needed to be fillled!.!.!.that's all!.!.!.!.!.i hope this works for you because it works for me!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.hehehe!.!.!.peace!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

ha ha ha, you can do anything you put your mind to, Im sure! CAN I WATCH!?

I dont know what country you live in, but in australia it would cost $200-300 depending!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You could let toxins into your blood stream by pulling it your self a would recommend trying to find a free clinic or something like thatWww@Answer-Health@Com

of course you can but it is very painful and a dentist is betterWww@Answer-Health@Com

I would recomend to find a dentist!. though doing it yourself will not be painfull if you do it carefully but fast don't take too long or it would hurt like hellWww@Answer-Health@Com

NO, it will break and then you'll be dealing with infections and alot more money and possibly health issues!. Good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com
