Question: My braces hurt!!?!!?
I got my braces today and they hurt like CRAZY! And I had Advil and they still hurt!. How long will they hurt like this!? And what can I do to numb the pain!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Mackenzi , I know they do hurt!. I thought i was going to rip them off the next day for real !. I never thought it could hurt so bad!. I thought i was the only one too!. My dentist let me come in the next day and pushed some of the hooks on the brackets down and put rubberbands on the parts they could what a difference!. Let them know they are there to help you! I used wax for about 3 weeks (everyone is different) and rinsed with salt water to heal the sores!. I only ate mashed pototaes and soup!. I lost weight too!. But i never thought i would adjust to this and that i was the only one!. It does pass and i am pain free now have not had wax on in a month!. It is worth the great difference your going to see with straight teeth!. I know what your going thru and pray it will pass soon for you!. Blessings, BonnieWww@Answer-Health@Com
lots of cold stuff ice, ice cream, shakes, it will take a couple days and it will hurt every time they get adjusted !.!.!. figure yo will spent at least a couple days eating soft cold stuff at least once a mont until the braces come off !.!.

Well i remember when i had my braces and i hurt like hell too, lol!. I just thought that the more pain i had, the more and quicker my teeth are going to get straight, lol!. Just dont think bout the pain!.!.!.u will get used to it though

it lasted like a week for me, but my friend just got them like a few days ago and it doesnt hurt any more!. but ice cream helps and like cold stuff in general!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It will hurt for a few days!. You should eat soft foods like applesauce for a while!. With the pain!.!.!. you have to suck it up for a while and when u get them adjusted next ask your orthodontist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
