Answers:
Yes, any tooth can be altered by contour grinding!. There is a limit as to how much of the tooth's surface can be removed without exposing the tooth to undue staining!. Also, removing to much of the tooth's surface can create less resistance to reactions by the tooth from being exposed to heat and cold!. Decay is another factor that has to be considered!. Your dentist should take and Xray of any tooth he or she plans on grinding on!. Your age is also a factor!. The younger you are the less tooth surface you can have removed!.!.!.The second inside layer of the tooth is the "Dentin"!. It is, if you will, the insulation layer that blocks sudden reactions to heat and cold!. Remove to much and the tooth will be overly sensitive!. The X-ray will tell the dentist how deep down the Dentin lies and hence tell him or her how much enamel layer can be removed!. Good luck and I wish you well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

THE TEETH MAY BE GROUND SOME, BUT OVER TIME THEY WILL GROW BACK!.
WHY!?
BECAUSE IT'S THE WAY THEY MEET AND BITE AGAINST THE OPPOSING TEETH WHICH MAY NOT BE STABLE!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had a sharp bit filed off my tooth, teeth cannot be filed much though due to nerve in teeth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
