Here's a tip: If your wisdom teeth are obstructing (coming through your gums) they are much easier to remove than ones that are still under the gum and therefore it is likely that a dentist can remove them instead of a costly oral surgeon!. (That is what happened to me last summer) And it's especially important, if you want to keep your teeth straight, that you have them removed because they WILL cause your teeth to shift :SWww@Answer-Health@Com

If it's not hurting now, I would leave them as nature intended!.

When I was about 20, the orthodontist told me I should get my wisdom teeth pulled!. They looked fine to me, and weren't hurting!. It was an easy extraction, and I was even able to eat that very night (that was unusual, I was told)!. The stiches came out a week later, no complications!.

I remember that afterwards, it felt like something was missing, and I never did have the same chewing power for really tough foods!. That was 30 years ago!.

My teeth aren't perfectly straight now, as we declined the braces afterwards!. However, you can't tell that there's anything wrong unless you look closely!. Since my occupation doesn't depend on my looks, it hasn't affected me at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My mom was a dental assistant for 28 years and I would definitely get them taken out!. Your really supposed to get them out when there not coming in because it will heart more if you wait, and take longer to heal if I'm not mistaken!. Also if you wait to long and let them come in say goodbye to straight teeth and hello to getting braces!Www@Answer-Health@Com

ill be 34 years old this year but last year i went to a new dentist and he said that i was to old to still have my wisdom teeth in!. i had all 4 so he pulled them and i also have beautiful teeth but ever since i let him pull them te back of my mouth has been in nothing but pain! you should keep them if there not hurting let them stay!Www@Answer-Health@Com
