Am I going to eventually need a crown on my cavity filled molar?!

Question: Am I going to eventually need a crown on my cavity filled molar!?
My dentist found a big cavity in one of my molars, and by the time he was finished drilling most of the chewing surface was gone, so I needed a full silver filling to replace the the chewing surface!. I don't want to have my tooth ground down for a crown, but my dentist said I will probably need it done in the future!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Better to have a crown in the future then to lose that tooth!. You want to try to keep your own teeth if you can!. Don't worry about it right now!. You are probably looking about 10-20 years down the line before anything major happens!. No worries!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

This is happening to me right now!. I had a large filling in my molar, it was put in approximately 7 years ago, went to the dentist last week and he said I need a crown now!. It sucksWww@Answer-Health@Com
