Question: Had one of my wisdoms normally extracted yesterday - whats best for after!?
So i had my wisdom tooth on the top right taken out!. I have never had any tooth extracted before!. Was wondering whats the best healing methods from now on!?
Plus how long till the hole closes!?
I was told just to have a couple panadol if i need them!. I have been taking regular nurfon!.!. but im still sore!.!. So wanting peoples advice who have had one of theirs taken out before!.!. thanks heaps!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I had all four taken out at once!. Nothing helps too much with the pain aside from pills!. However, one thing that really helped me was doing a warm salt water rinse then spitting out!. It was quite soothing!.
Also, I had holes where they went in, so they gave me device that shoots water into the holes!. It sounds like it would hurt, but it makes it feel a lot better to keep food out of there!. Mine started to close quite a bit after a couple of weeks, but it was some time before it got to the point that no food what-so-ever would make it's way into there!
If you eat foods high in vitamin C or zinc, or take a supplement of some sort, it will help you heal faster!.

When I had mine taken out I had all four taken all in the same day!. The dentist told me to gargle with plenty of warm salt water!. The clot should should take a week to form, so no drinking out of straws because sipping on straws can dislodge the clot, then you will get a dry socket!. That is exposed bone and nerve endings which can be extremely painful!. Don't spit it also affects the clot in the same way instead of spitting just use more gauze!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

And no, this does not make you a bad person for purchasing PAINkillers if you're in PAIN!. I'm not going to let some *** in a white coat tell me what I can and can't take for pain!.

It definitely will take some time to fully heal, a week or two!. It really depends on the person, some will heal faster, some slower!. Mine healed up in about a week and stopped swelling after a day or so!. Try eating soft foods, and don't move your jaw too much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
eat soft and cold things and do the warm fash cloth and ice thingy (what ever they told you to do) thats it for now!.!.!.!.!.I would just worry about the stink later!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
