DO BRACES HURT WHEN THEY ARE BEING PLACED!? what color braces should i get, i am 12 years old and a girl!. what are spacers!? do they hurt!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 13, so I know what your going through!. Plus I get my braces again on the 15th!.
Braces don't hurt at all when being placed, it's a few hours later when they start to feel sore, but the pain is definitely not bad!.
As for colors, i like pink and blue, pink and green, or pink and orange!. But you can try the colors out here:

Spacers are little rubber bands that are placed in your teeth to create space for the metal bands that are used with braces!.
They hurt pretty bad, but are not always needed!. if you do get them you can just take a pain reliever and the pain will be gone in no time!.

When you are actually getting your braces put on they don't hurt but after everything is done they do!. I would reccomend taking 2 regular strength ibuprofen or tylenol before you go in though!. Spacers are these little blue type rubberbands that they put in between your back teeth so they will be able to have enough space to put the back brackets on!. My favorite colors to always get were purple and teal and pink and green!Www@Answer-Health@Com
braces dont hurt that bad!. just make sure u dont have chapped lips or ur lips w/ hurt more than ur teeth (they have to stretch open ur mouth and i unfortuantly had chapped lips and it hurt, but it normally doesnt)!. the braces just make ur mouth sore for about 3 days!. and spacers are these little band like things that they sorta put inbetween ur teeth!. i never found them painful!. and get whatever color u want!. the ortho usually tells u what colors they have so just pick one!. and u change the color everytime u go, so u can get alot of colors!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
ok you are way too worried about this!.!.!. you are 12 dont be a baby!. spacers are rubber bands that go between your teeth!. no they dont hurt but they are annoying!. when they put the metal bands on the back of your teeth it hurts a little and bleeds!. thats all!. get the color you like -_-!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Spacers make room for the bands that wrap around the back teeth which the wires anchor to!. Spacers are a little painful, the process of applying braces is painless, however your mouth will be sore for several days afterward!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
