My upper lip and area between nose and upper lip is swollen? please help!?!

Question: My upper lip and area between nose and upper lip is swollen!? please help!!?
My upper lip and the area between my nose and upper lip is swollen to about four times as big as normal!. i'm only 13 and i haven't eaten any new foods recently so it's not an allergic reaction!. However, i did have aleve's recently!. I had a bad toothache and i've been treating the pain with aleve!. about six a day!. Could i be allergic to the aleve, and would that cause my lip to swell!? I've been icing it and its not helping!. I also have my right front tooth knocked out and i have a retainer with a fake tooth on it so that my teeth look normal!. The left front tooth and the tooth to the left of that one is where my toothache was, and my gums are swollen around those two teeth as well!. Please tell me what could cause this swelling, and do i need to get my retainer re-fitted!? could it be that my retainer is pushing against my other teeth, making them loose!? Please help me!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Darling, this sounds serious and you must get to your dentist!. Any sort of infection in the mouth is very dangerous as it is so close to your brain!. As for the Aleve, you are only supposed to take a maximum of 2 at a time and not exceed 6 in 24 hours!. Also, anytime you take Aleve you must take with a FULL glass of water!. Get your parents to take you to the dentist today since it's Friday and the dentist will close for the weekend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get to your dentist immediately!. It sounds like you have an abscess developing in one of your remaining front teeth!. Your dentist will need to evaluate what is happening and will be able to get you on appropriate medications to alleviate the pain and swelling!. This isn't something you want to wait on!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Get yourself to the dentist immediately!. You have an infection, also called an abscess, which needs to be treated before it spreads and you have a bigger, possibly life-threatening, problem!. This is not something you should be asking on Yahoo Answers-you need a medical professional!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It sounds like a dental problem!. You should contact your dentist immediately!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
