Answers:
Hurt is different than sore!. If you are still hurting, you will probably need antibiotics and you might need the extraction site treated for "dry socket" which is an infection of the bone of the socket!. Call you dentist tomorrow!.

you should see your dentist !.!. if your in pain , like someone said before me there is a big difference in pain & soreness !.!. i recently had a tooth infection (which the tooth is being extracted tuesday) !.!. well anyways because of the misuse of perscription drugs doctors/dentist are not giving out alot of the real pain killers i was treated with a antibiotic & motrin 600 which did nothing for me , sadly i was taking motrin more like every 3 hours instead of 4-6 and that barely worked i ended up in the emergency room !.!. some times motrin & tylenol work and sometimes they dont you may need something stronger because wen i went to the emergency room they gave me 1 vicodin an 2 to take home to get me through the night because it was late at night then a script for 10 and i havnt touched the script and i didnt need the other vicodins i took 1 to prevent pain because i was having a grad!. party for me & i didnt want to feel the pain then like 2days later i was in pain an took one!.!.!. so bottom line is you may need something stronger to take the majority of the pain awayWww@Answer-Health@Com

I got my infection tooth pulled out a couple years ago, it really hurted a lot!. But i dont recall hurting as long as you have!.!.!.i had to take med for like 2 days or 3!. if it doesnt get better by tomorrow go back to the dentist and get it check!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
