Answers:
If you do not take care of your teeth while wearing braces, you can have long-term problems!. When food is allowed to collect around the brackets, decalcification occurs in the enamel!. This decalcification can present itself as a white spot!. These white spots can be prevented by brushing, flossing, and rinsing with fluoride nightly!. ACT is a great supplement sold at any drug store and it comes in many flavors!. It is a low dose fluoride rinse that reverses decalcification and prevents decay!. I see patients all the time with white rings where orthodontic brackets used to be!. These patients did not take care of their teeth while wearing braces!. You sound like you do take good care of your teeth!. I'd add the fluoride rinse to your nightly routine!. Also, cut sugared foods and beverages from your diet!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
