When you were examined by the dentist after x-rays were taken, he/she should have explained to you what needs to be done!. Although because extractions are usually such a routine procedure, they may just explain what will be done right before it's time to start!. If they don't, ask your questions before you open your mouth for whatever they'll use to numb you!. If you're a minor, you should let your parent(s) know you want to know what's going to happen!. Most dental offices have pamphlets available for patients that explains specific dental procedures!. They should have given you one about extractions!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
