How long does it take to get braces put on? and how long do they hurt for?!
Question: How long does it take to get braces put on!? and how long do they hurt for!?
im getting braces in like a week, but i forgot to take time off work, and im working shortly after my dentist appointment!. so how long do they take to put on!?
and even if i could get to work on time, am i going to be in too much pain to work!?
im also working the next day and the day after!. am i going to have to pretend to be sick, or is the pain not that bad!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i just got mine on yesterday so i know all about this!xD
depending where u are getting the braces, if u are getting them on just top, on just bottom or on both!.!.
if u are getting them on top or bottom it will take about an hour to do the whole process!. if u are getting them on both top and bottom than it will take about 2 hours to put them on!. for the pain, it really depends on the person and it also depends on how crooked your teeth are!. if u tolorate pain well than it should be bad!. if the teeth are badly crooked than there will be more pain involved but again it depends on if you can handle it well!. the pain for braces is for 3-8 days again depending where and how badly crooked your teeth are!. i would say dont worry for the first day you get them because all u feel is pressure and no pain really!. the pain starts to come on the second day!. so if you feel that you cant work than stay home and take an advil and rest!. hope i helped! It took about an hour and a half for me, but I had them put on both top and bottom teeth!. And I went to work straight from the dentist's office!. They said I'd probably be experiencing some discomfort in a couple of hours, but it never really kicked in!. It depends though, some people say they have a lot of pain!. Just be sure and have some extra strength Tylenol or something around in case you need it!.

it took about 15 minutes for me!.the amount of hurt,according to my orthodontist,depends on the individual!.it may hurt a lot for you,or may not hurt at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Well braces can take up to about 1-2 hours and depending on how sensative your mouth is it can take up from 2 days to 1 week for them to stop hurting!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
