Question: Whats a good temporary fix for a home remedy/fast relief for an abscessed tooth!?
Answers:
You can actually take up to 5 200mg of Ibuprofen (a total of 1000mg; my neurologist prescribes this for me to take when I get migraines and I take it every few weeks with no problems!.) Up to three non-prescription Tylenol!. Of course, if taking any of these normally bother your stomach, be sure to take with food!.

Drink cool/cold water!. When your tooth is infected, heat makes it so awful!.!.but cold brings relief!. You can also try chewing on ice, I'm not sure how sensitive the tooth is right now!.

If it gets REALLY bad, pull it yourself!. ;) Kidding!.!.though I do know people who have pulled their own teeth due to horrible pain!. (Including Amy Winehouse! Not that I know her, just OF her!.)

I feel terrible for you!. I have an abscessed tooth at the moment and am going in for a root canal tomorrow (which I am hella nervous about)!. I understand about the money thing!. I'm going to be making payments and paying a SHITLOAD!. Thank God I have a credit card to make the "down payment" or else I would just be getting it yanked!.

As a final note: I've heard that clove oil helps with tooth pain!. Putting a drop or two on the tooth allegedly clears up the pain!. I've heard from many people that it works!. Never tried personally!. I use the mixture of 1000mg ibuprofen + cold water!. Cold compresses are good too!.

Good luck and I hope you get it taken care of soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Temporary relief can be obtained by using an over the counter product called "OraJel"!.!.!.!.The key word here is "Temporary"!.!.an abscess slowly erodes away gum jaw bone and can eventually leak infection directly into the blood stream and that my friend is dangerous!.!.!.!.IF there is a Dental College near you contact it's "Out Patient Clinic"!.!.The clinic provides dental services to the public fro fees ranging from FREE to LOW!.!.Good luck and I wish you well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Getting in the car and driving to the Dentist!. An abscess isn't something you want to fool with!.!.!.!.but in the meantime take some Ibuprofen (up to 800 mg!.) two to three times per day and get a frozen bag of corn and wrap in a towel and place on your cheek area near the tooth for a few minutes then off for a few minutes and so on and so on!.!.!.

Again, the best thing is to call a dentist, get an appointment and get some antibiotics and get the tooth taken care of!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
