Question: Damn how long will my new braces ache and hurt and give me damn pain!!!!! i just got dem on may 5th!?

Well, for the braces, take some pain reliever medicine!. The kind you would use if you had a headache!. Then try to eat only soft foods for a while!. It will hurt way less than hot, hard foods!. Also you can suck on ice, but not chew!.
By rubber bands, I think you mean spacers/separators!? Well, if that's what your talking about, do that same thing for braces, and try to think about other happy things, you should b fine soon!.

ohhh I remember braces, they were torture!!!! It will hurt for about a week and after that everytime you get them adjusted it will feel like this!. I know it SUX but just think after you get them off your teeth will be amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I ate soup, ice cream and mashed potatoes for the first week!. UGH

Take some ibuprofen, Aleve, or tylenol and that will help your pain!. eat soft foods!. Your pain should go away within the next few days up to a week!.

Been there done that! They will hurt until a week or so!. You get used to it you don't even know they will be there!. Try eating yogurt and soup!. When I got braces I ate a lot of waterice, no ice cream!

ive been there!. its hurts like for 2 weeks!. but after tat it doesnt even feel like its there!. but then the orthodontics tightens them every month and its hurts 4 like a week!. its worth the pain thou wen u take off ur braces and u c ur perfectly staright teeth!!! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
