im kinda confused!.!. like about the glueing!.!. some people have told me they put to much on and you can taste it the whole day and eventually wears down!. some said you cant mnotice they have glued it!?

You aren't going to notice glue!. It's a bit painful, more like a lot of pressure on your whole mouth!. Your lips will get caught on them a bit, and make sure you have chapstick!. Your lips get dry a lot because your mouth stays open until you get used to them being on!.

Heyy, i just wanna say firstly that its great ur choosing to get braces your teeth will look Fab in the end! :D
anyway im a dental nurse and my dentist does alot of ortho work!. The glue that ur refering to is most likely the cement we use to bond the bands on the back molars, that cement doesnt taste too good so it might take a day for the taste to clear!. None of that cement will show afterwards though!. The glue we use for each bracket is very little and once we've bonded the brackets (braces) on the teeth, any excess glue is removed with a composite bur (that doesnt hurt btw)!. Usually the dentist would have removed all the excess visible but some patients walk out with abit left on their teeth that the dentist missed!. Thats ok if that happens because if you spot it at home you can just pop back into the surgery and have it removed, no dramas!. Initially the braces are going to hurt ur teeth because they are moving but after a while with each wire ur teeth will position and it wont hurt anymore!. hope i helped :) cyaWww@Answer-Health@Com

it really just depends on who's working on you!. Some are better than others!. Oh and it depeneds on the size of your teeth too!.
