You might ask him if he can smooth it out till you are ready to replace the veneer!.!.!.!.If he can, then he will use a dental bur that is used for finishing/smoothing and try to go over it and make it not so noticeable!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortuanately, no!. Your teeth are important, now that the veneer is chipped the tooth underneath is actually very susceptible to bacteria and thus, decay!. Replacing your veneer is now necessary to prevent this from happening, which does place this procedure, otherwise considered as a cosmetic procedure, into the non cosmetic realm and therefore it may be covered by your dental insurance!. Your dentist's benefits coordinator or insurance processor will have to write a convincing narrative, with photos in addition to xrays, but it is coverable for the sole reason that to not do it will cause your tooth to decay, and ultimately cause the tooth to require a root canal and a crown!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the only thing i know of is to have the dentist change it that's what my mom had to do when hers got chipped!.!.!.good luck honWww@Answer-Health@Com

He can do a temporary fill and but if you have already invested in the veneeers it might be best to get it done properly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
