I'm getting my braces off?!
Question: I'm getting my braces off!?
Does it like hurt!? What do they do to take them off!? Just give me lots of advice and info please, I'm kinda nervous!Www@Answer-Health@Com

They use a small plier/tweezer to pluck all of your brackets off after removing your wires!. It depends on weather you have bands on your back teeth that hold your wire in place or if you have the brackets on your back teeth!.
The first time I had braces I had bands on my back teeth and it hurt like hell!.!.!.i'm sure it wasn't soo bad but when it is you in the chair for that 40 minutes!.!.!.well you know :)
However, my second time I insisted on only brackets and no bands, that was a breeze!. It didn't take long and although they still have to reach all the way back there it is only uncomfortable for a minute!.
Try not to be nervous!.!.!.it is no different than any other dental experience you have had monthly since you got them put on!. Just think, it'll only be an hour and then your outta there and on your way!.!.!.!.sans braces!

It didn't hurt at all for me, from what I can remember anyway!. But I do know that it didn't hurt, and it feels like a huge weight was just lifted from my shoulders!. However, looking at your new teeth, getting compliments, and sliding your tongue across your teeth are really fun things to think about if it does hurt you while you get them off!. It distracts you from the pain!.

basically they just twist off the brackets using pliers!. close your eyes, and think about something else!. it doesn't hurt a bit! getting the band off though, that hurts! it feels like your teeth are getting ripped out!. this is for a few seconds, max 30 seconds, but after that, its all gone!. i still have braces, but have had to have brackets repositioned and all my friends have told me about getting the bands off!. good luck! take care of your teeth, and WEAR YOUR RETAINER!! its worth it!Www@Answer-Health@Com
When I got mine off!.!.!.I honestly not to scare you or anything but thought I was going to die, it hurt me more getting them off then it did putting them on!.!.!.
