How does geting your wisdom teeth pulled feel like?!

I had it done about 10 years ago!. There's nothing to it! I was prepared for the worst and I was surprised how quickly it went!. I wasn't put to sleep!. Just sedated and numbed!. I could hear what the dentist/surgeon was saying but was so woozy i didn't care!. I had one side done the first office visit and then in about 3 week weeks wen back for the other side!. I just chewed on opposit sides for a few days and it was no problem!. When I went back to get that area irrigated (as they call it) I remember he rinsed with some kind of peppermint water and it was so soothing and refreshing!. So, don't worry and good luck!. You'll be fine!. (OH!. I took a prescription pain med, but it just made made feel happy!. lol Never any pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I just had mine out Friday and so far everything has been hunky-dory!. I was put to sleep because they had to take four teeth out (bottom wisdom and the teeth in front of them to reach the wisdom teeth) I was out for one hour and came home and went to bed!. The next day I was a little sore but took pain meds as prescribed and felt NICE all day Saturday and Sunday!. They gave me two socks pinned together and my husband filled plastic bags with frozen peas and put them in the socks and tied it around my head if it got too sore the first two days and to keep swelling down!. I have not had really any swelling and very little pain!. If I actually remembered to take the pain meds when I am supposed to rather than 2 hours late I would most likely not have any pain!!! I have been eating jello, pudding, soup and un-grilled cheese sandwiches and ice cream with no nuts! I have lost 2 lbs!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its really different for everyone and whether you were completely out or just had local anesthetic!. I had an ok experience!. I was so for awhile of course but no major pain!.I wouldn't jump in and eat anything you want!. I was on liquids and soft food for the first few days and wasn't allowed to drink from a straw!. You have holes in your gums until it heals so you don't want to be chewing or getting solid food stuck in there!. That would be really gross and might infect it!. Everyone is different so be careful!Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I had all four of my wisdom teeth pulled at once they put me out!. I remember the nice lady placing a mask on my face, then there was a little row boat by a river and I thought "oh how nice, a boat, I think I'll get in"!. Then I woke up with tears on my face and it felt like I had been crying!. I don't remember anything!. My dad said he could hear me from the hall!.

After the work, my head was achey!. But I had Tylenol with Codeine and that helped!. It still hurt but I didn't care!. Ha!Www@Answer-Health@Com

for me, i was sedated while the extraction went on, so i didn't feel anything at the time!.!. the week after though was torture!. i was on a soft-food diet for about !.!.5 days!? avoid ANYTHING hard or crunchy!.!. it'll hurt!. also, when you brush your teeth!.!. be careful with the surgery areas!. i accidentally hit my gum with my toothbrush a week after extraction!.!. and my cheeks swoll up again for about 2 days!. just be careful!. it doesn't really hurt, if you're knocked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I only had novacaine, because my parents wanted to save money plus I was scarred by their consent form waving my right to sue them if I died!.

You hear a bunch of crunching it only takes like a minute to actually pull them!. Most of the time you spend waiting to get numb and putting in the stitches!.

For 3-4 days you eat soft stuff like pudding, soup, etcWww@Answer-Health@Com

My tooth was highly infected and impacted on one side!. Despite this it was okay!. I didn't feel anything but I heard my tooth snap off the bone!. It's not a pleasant sound but I didn't feel it! The next day it will be sore and you'll have to keep it clean but as long as you take the prescription they give you it will be okay!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
