Question: I get my braces off today,what should I expect!?
I'm going in a few hours!. A few questions I was wondering about-
How long does it take to get them off!?
Is it painful!?

it doesn't take long for them to actually take them off, its a bit uncomfortable, especially if they orthodontist isn't gentle
your teeth will be tender for the first day, i would suggest not chewing gum and eating softer foods for at least the first day
make sure to wear your retainer! It will help the discomfort and keep your new perfect teeth perfectWww@Answer-Health@Com

it doesn't take long at all!.!.!.as soon as they get you in the chair, they'll take some kind of tool and sort of scrap them off!. it doesn't hurt at all!. and when i got mine off, the orthodontist used some kind of heating tool, to melt the excess glue!.!.!.!.and your teeth will feel a little slimy for a few days!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
You should be overjoyed to get them off and look into that mirror just bursting with pride !. Also thank your folks to have cared enough to do this for you ! I am sure it cost them plenty !. Parents deserve a hug for that ! So, don't forget to tell them how much you appreciate it !.

My daughter said that her teeth felt smooth after they were taken off!. Pain!? she didn't seem to be when I watched!. Good luck and congrats!Www@Answer-Health@Com
