Severe pain in tooth due to cold after braces?!

Question: Severe pain in tooth due to cold after braces!?
I just got braces last friday, and I'm a little concerned!. My other teeth don't really hurt as much as one specific tooth, the lateral incisor, it hurts really bad when I drink or eat anything cold or hot, it hurts if I push it inwards or bite down on it, it even hurts if I breathe through my mouth when I'm outside!. In my school they just recently turned off the heat and it gets really cold sometimes and when I smile or laugh while I'm inside the pain is unbareable!. I just wanted to know if it's a normal thing with braces or if I should go have that checked out, because I really can't stand the pain!.!.!. :( HELP!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Is this tooth extremely crooked compared to your other teeth!? Sometimes, if there is a lot of pressure on one tooth because it is more out of line than the others it may become sensitive!. It sounds really bad so I would recommend you call your orthodontist or even your dentist to have it checked out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
